BIOSKETCH
Dr. Farzana Mohamed is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Antimicrobial Research Unit (ARU), School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal. She holds a PhD in Microbiology from UKZN, where her research focused on the biomedical applications of nanoparticles for combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Her current research interests encompass antimicrobial resistance, One Health, environmental and wastewater surveillance, microbial genomics, biofilms, and the development of alternative antimicrobial strategies.
